Workout for Wishes 2007
In November 2007, neighbors in two Franklin communities, the Enclave and Carronbridge, gathered to compete in family fitness events at Prairie Life Center. The event featured celebrity appearances, door prizes, and fitness challenges, but the highlight was when the children of both neighborhoods gathered to announce that 3-year old wish kid Matthew would be receiving his wish to have a back-yard playset. The event raised over $23,000, thanks to the generosity of participants and sponsors.
